چکیده
Nutritional status of people with intellectual disability (PWID) is always at risk and developing a dietary assessment tool important. This study aims to test reliability (inter-rater test-retest reliability) comparable validity (limit agreement against multiple pass 24-hour diet recall recorded by professional dietitian) recently developed kit, CIDDIE Kit©, that specialised for more dependent group PWID, focusing on preschool aged children. The Kit© was given 26 parents or caretakers children disabilities (ID) registered three selected Community Based Rehabilitation Centre in the Klang Valley area. Each subject asked complete two sets two-week interval session. Meanwhile, certified dietitian conducted 24-Hour Diet Recall among same subjects. were analysed using Bland-Altman method, percentage correctly classified quartile, Intra-class Correlation Coefficient (ICC) value Pearson’s correlation coefficient. For test, estimated intake from Multiple Pass considerably each other. analysis showed significant high similarity (p < 0.001) between both phases where ICC ranged approximately 0.9 (R = 0.889 - 0.930). inter-rater significantly positive strong (indicating internal consistency), r (0.706 – 0.853). specially designed can provide valid reliable assessment.
