چکیده

Objective : linguistic and cultural adaptation of the original version Berg Balance Scale (BBS) assessment its psychometric properties. Patients methods . The staff Validation Center International Scales Questionnaires Research Neurology received consent from Katherine to validate BSS in Russia. We carried out linguocultural ratification during validation study prepared a Russian scale. To assess properties scale (reliability, validity, sensitivity), we evaluated 55 patients (30 females 25 males) aged 22–88 years with different neurological disorders (vascular demyelinating diseases central nervous system, peripheral neuropathy, movement disorders). analyzed differences total BBS score number high low risk falls at end rehabilitation compared baseline dynamics changes. Results discussion successfully performed translation BBS. represents level validity (expert score: 8.6 10 points), reliability (Pearson's correlation coefficient r=0.98, р<0.0001; Cronbach's alpha α=0.94 р<0.001; Cohen's kappa κ=0.71, p<0.0001) sensitivity (р<0.0001). After two-week course, significantly decreased (χ2 =4.42; р=0.035); however, independence did not change (F=0.94; р=0.636). Conclusion was officially adapted based on results accomplished is recommended for use both routine clinical practice trials by neurologists rehabilitologists. available downloading QR code website Neurology.
