Using TRIZ10 for enhancing creativity in engineering design education

Abstract One of the popular creativity methods to solve technical problems is Theory Inventive Problem Solving, (TRIZ), however, requires a considerable investment time. A teaching methodology for simplified version TRIZ (TRIZ10) has been developed reducing learning time and improving creative process in solving problems. This method applied small group engineering design students as proof concept. The evaluation results obtained shows that achieved adequate this technique (75% overall efficiency). led doubling number ideas by compared those generated before TRIZ10; further, it also improves 10% average degree novelty these ideas.
