چکیده

ABSTRACT The cosmological recombination radiation (CRR) is one of the guaranteed spectral distortion signals from early Universe. CRR photons hydrogen and helium pre-date last scattering process as such allow probing physical phenomena in pre-recombination era. Here, we compute modifications to caused by dark energy models varying electromagnetic fundamental constants. These new physics examples have seen increased recent activity connection with Hubble tension, motivating exploratory study presented here. associated responses are spectrally rich but level small. We forecast possible sensitivity future spectrometers these effects. Our estimates demonstrate that directly depends changes expansion history during However, futuristic sensitivities required for spectrometer-only constraints competitive other probes. Nevertheless, measurements can reach into phases otherwise remain inaccessible, highlighting potential types observations could a probe A combination Planck data further shows synergistic approach very promising.

The Cosmological Constant and Dark Energy

Physics invites the idea that space contains energy whose gravitational effect approximates that of Einstein’s cosmological constant, Λ; nowadays the concept is termed dark energy or quintessence. Physics also suggests the dark energy could be dynamical, allowing the arguably appealing picture that the dark energy density is evolving to its natural value, zero, and is small now because the expa...

The Hubble Constant and Dark Energy from Cosmological Distance Measures

We study how the determination of the Hubble constant from cosmological distance measures is affected by models of dark energy and vice versa. For this purpose, constraints on the Hubble constant and dark energy are investigated using the cosmological observations of cosmic microwave background, baryon acoustic oscillations and type Ia suprenovae. When one investigates dark energy, the Hubble c...

Testing the Cosmological Constant as a Candidate for Dark Energy

It may be difficult to single out the best model of dark energy on the basis of the existing and planned cosmological observations, because the parameter space of many different models can lead to similar observational consequences. However, each particular model can be studied and either found consistent with observations or ruled out. In this paper, we concentrate on the possibility to test a...

Dark energy, a cosmological constant, and type Ia supernovae

We focus on uncertainties in supernova measurements, in particular of individual magnitudes and redshifts, to review to what extent supernovae measurements of the expansion history of the universe are likely to allow us to constrain a possibly redshift-dependent equation of state of dark energy, w(z). We focus in particular on the central question of how well one might rule out the possibility ...
