Using Technology to Compile an English-Arabic Glossary of the most Frequent Collocations in Ted Talks Parallel Corpus

Translation has evolved over the years and is now benefiting from progress made in field of technology corpus linguistics. This study aims to use technology, particularly AntConc toolkit, compile an English-Arabic glossary most frequent collocations listed TED Talks parallel corpus. The contains 1,000 unique English headwords a total 3,670 along with their Arabic translations as produced by Ted translators researchers. Headwords are alphabetically ordered each collocation accompanied its frequency translation. paper demonstrates process through which bilingual been compiled steps taken collected data.
