Using Free-Choice Nets for Process Mining and Business Process Management

چکیده
Free-choice nets, a subclass of Petri have been studied for decades. They are interesting because they many desirable properties normal nets do not and can be analyzed efficiently. Although the majority process models used in practice inherently free-choice, most users (even modeling experts) aware free-choice net theory associated analysis techniques. This paper discusses context mining business management. For example, state-of-the-art discovery algorithms like inductive miner produce that free-choice. Also, hand-made using languages BPMN tend to choice synchronization separated different elements. Therefore, we introduce basic notions results this important class models. Moreover, also present new particularly relevant mining. elaborate on home clusters lucency as closely-related correctness notions. We discuss limitations management, suggest research directions extend with non-local dependencies.

Petri Nets and Business Process Management
The management of business processes comprises their planning, specification, modeling, analysis and computer-supported execution. Current trends in information technology such as workflow management systems or packaged software systems indicate the increasing importance of a systematic approach to business process management. We and others have advocated the use of a restricted class of...
متن کاملBusiness Process Modeling Applications Using Decision Process Petri Nets
This paper presents a formal framework for business process modeling and analysis using partially ordered transition Decision Process Petri nets (DPPN). The advantage of this approach is its ability to represent the dynamic behavior of the business process. The business process model is supported by an information technology strategic planning (ITSP) model and methodology. The modeling methodol...

متن کاملAspect Mining in Business Process Management
Automatic discovery of process models from event logs is an important and promising area in Business Process Management. Process models document how business processes should be performed, so they capture different concerns related to business processes. Some of these concerns are not limited to one process model, and they are repeated in many others as well, called cross-cutting concerns. Alth...
