چکیده
Many techniques have been and are being made to find alternatives water-saving practices. Among them, Partial root drying (PRD), one effective approach, plays a major role in reducing the harmful effects of water deficit stress. Field experiments were carried out on mango trees for private farm Egypt over course two years, 2020/2021 2021/2022, an area with sandy soil, hot summer conditions, cold rainy winter conditions. In experiment that was out, experimental design included using different irrigation strategies (I1, 100% full “FI”; I2, 75% FI; I3, 50% I4 FI) main plot amounts organic mulch soil (L0, no layers mulch, used as control; L1, single layer mulch; L2, L3, three mulch) subplots order inspect impact treatments yield, productivity, energy usage under arid To meet study’s objective, field at farm. Our results demonstrate general decrease stress salt accumulation inside root-zone PRD L3. During 2021/2022 seasons strategy increased fruit yields by 3.7 7.3% productivity 51.9 53.1%, respectively, compared control treatment (I1) while amount applied 50%. The along mulching showed superior respect increasing productivity. general, can be good technique save up enhancing ultimately improving climatic Thus, it may prove adaptation current future shortage scenarios involving climate change.

Assessment of AquaCrop, WOFOST and CropSyst models for Estimating Sugar Beet Yield under Water Deficit Conditions
Sugar beet is one of the most important agricultural crops and its yield depends on irrigation water. Due to the impossibility of assessing the effect of all water amount strategies on sugar beet yield, it is necessary to use crop models such as WOFOST, AquaCrop and Cropsyst. In order to achieve this goal, a set of data collected from Shahrekord’s Agricultural Research Station were used. Treatm...
متن کاملImproving Almond Productivity under Deficit Irrigation in Semiarid Zones
Sustainable water use is one of the greatest challenges of irrigated agricultural systems. This study presents the results related to the agronomic and physiological response to the deficit irrigation of almond trees (Prunus dulcis DA Webb Mill cv. Guara) under semiarid Mediterranean conditions in the Guadalquivir river basin (SW Spain). Two deficitirrigation strategies were tested: i) regulate...
متن کاملThe Effect of Deficit Irrigation, Planting Method and Mulch on the Yield and Water Productivity of Mungbean
In the present study, the effects of different levels of irrigation, organic mulch and planting method on the mungbean yield in Badjgah were investigated. The experimental plan in the first year was full randomized block, while in the second year, it was full randomized split-split plot block design, in three repetitions. The results showed that in the FI treatments, the yield was increased up ...
متن کاملImpact of water and nitrogen management strategies on maize yield and water productivity indices under linear-move sprinkler irrigation
With uncertainty in future irrigation water availability and regulations on nutrient application amounts, experimentally determined effects of “controllable” management strategies such as nitrogen (N), water, and their combination on crop water productivity (CWP, also known as crop water use efficiency) and actual evapotranspiration (ETa) are essential. The effects of various N application rate...
