User-Centred Human-Robot Collaborative Handling of Small Parts in a MIM Process

چکیده
Collaborative technologies can help improve work conditions for operators with any profile, in demanding production tasks. This paper presents an intervention intermediate stage of a Metal Injection Molding (MIM) manufacturing process poor ergonomics, both physical and stress-related, due to sustained visual attention demands. A collaborative workstation was designed implemented, integrating robot machine-vision system bin-picking. The strategy the distribute tasks between worker robot, where undertook non-ergonomic task arranging small pieces close together on plate, forming pre-established pattern. Tests first implementation suggest that task-sharing manipulation MIM-produced references is viable. Careful design fingers key such parts, ambiguous piece configurations require fine tuning identification systems, error-free execution.

Collaborative Requirements Elicitation: A Process-Centred Approach
Requirements Elicitation is one of the first and most critical processes in system engineering. In this paper we will focus on the collaborative aspects of requirement elicitation, in the context of system development. To do so, we adopted the separation of concerns method. Using this method we separate engineering aspects from collaboration aspects in order to study both aspects and finally in...
متن کاملUCProMo - Towards a User-Centred Process Model
The field of Software Engineering has a long tradition of developing sophisticated process models and methods and tools for its support. At the same time in the field of Human-Computer Interaction process models, methods, and tools have been developed and standardised internationally. Approaches from both fields have a lot to offer. However, despite great approaches for joining strengths and ad...
متن کاملA Personal User Interface for Collaborative Human-Robot Exploration
Human-robot collaboration has significant potential to improve planetary missions. Specifically, by enabling humans and planetary rovers to work together in the field we can greatly increase mission productivity while reducing cost, particularly for surface operations such as material transport, survey, sampling, and in-situ site characterization. Thus, we are developing a personal user interfa...
متن کاملUser-centred Human-computer Interaction
Computer interaction, animation and multimedia have changed cartography to a tremendous extent. This phenomenon requires new developments in cartographic theory and methodology. Especially interaction has influenced cartographic information processing decisively. Map-making and map-using have become one single and integrated process. The user is able to process and visualise data according to h...
متن کاملA Method-Independent Process Model of User-Centred Design
We propose a method-independent process model of user-centred design (UCD). It is based on recognised sources and its structure was developed in a set of assessments in industrial settings. The result is a process model that identifies six main processes of UCD. Each of these is defined through a set of outcomes. The model makes tangible the interface between the usability engineering and desig...
