چکیده

Nowadays optimal feed formulation for poultry is sought available content, which takes into account how the nutrients are digested and metabolized by animal. The digestibility coefficients of usually obtained in vivo trials that require feeding birds with different diets well-known composition analyzing a large number excreta samples. Nutrient found wet analytical methods. This work presents visible-near infrared (Vis-NIR) calibrations organic matter, protein, fat, gross energy, uric acid phosphorus from bioassays involving broiler chickens, laying hens turkeys carried out between 2017 2020. Vis-NIR spectra (400–2499.5 nm) were pretreated generalized least squares weighting (GLSW) partial regression (PLSR) was used to obtain prediction models. six parameters properly predicted values ratio performance deviation (RPD) coefficient determination (R2p) validation set ranging 3.7 4.6 0.91 0.95 respectively. All but one passed statistical tests fit purpose described ISO 12099:2017. Despite global provided satisfactory results, specific chicken hen developed check if their predictions could be even better results did not improve. Finally, root mean square error (RMSEP) compared standard reference methods employed analysis these parameters, confirming high direct applicability.

Potential of Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) to Predict Nutrient Composition of Bromus tomentellus

Determination of forage quality of available species is one of the fundamentalfactors for the management of rangelands. Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS)was used to analysis the Nitrogen (N), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), Dry MatterDigestibility (DMD) and Metabolizable Energy (ME) content of three phenological stages(vegetative, flowering and seeding) of Bromus tomentellus samples in ...

Use of visible and near-infrared spectroscopy to predict pork longissimus lean color stability.

This study evaluated the use of visible and near-infrared (VISNIR) spectroscopy to predict lean color stability in pork loin chops. Spectra were collected immediately after and approximately 1 h after rib removal on 1,208 loins. Loins were aged for 14 d before a 2.54-cm chop was placed in simulated retail display. Spectra were collected on aged loins immediately after removal from the vacuum pa...

The use of near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) to predict the chemical composition of ostrich feed samples

The wet chemical analysis of feed samples is time consuming and expensive. Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was developed as a rapid technique to predict the chemical composition of feeds. The prediction of accuracy of NIRS relies heavily on obtaining a calibration set which represents the variation in the main population, accurate laboratory analyses and the application of the best mathematic...

Utility of near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy to predict nutrient composition and in vitro digestibility of total mixed rations.

Total mixed ration (TMR) samples (n = 110) were analyzed for dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), soluble CP, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), NDF CP, starch, ash, fat, total ethanol-soluble carbohydrate, and nonfiber carbohydrate (NFC). Rapidly and slowly degraded and undegraded in situ CP fractions and in vitro DM, organic matter, and NDF digestibility were determined on each TMR. The TMR were ...
