چکیده
Rheoplastic lightweight concrete (RLC) is generally designed for pumping applications as fluid free from segregation. Concrete produced using polymeric admixtures to enhance workability, strength, drying shrinkage, and durability. This research investigated the suitability of natural porous pumice aggregates in Turkey obtain rheoplastic with cement content normal ranges. To produce experience mix design data, mixes were tested fine aggregate (FPA) coarse (CPA) supplied Nevşehir region Turkey. For contents 250 400 kg/m3 range, percentage required was 73.6-81.0% range complimentary water/cement ratios between 0.53 0.68. The upper compressive strength limit circa 30 N/mm2 . findings determined that samples met requirement a slump value 200 mm fresh predicted forms. While technical properties hardened such oven-dry density (1198-1362 ), values, static elasticity modulus (9236- 10756 MPa), thermal expansion coefficient (5.354 x10-6/°C - 6.929x10-6/°C) conductivity (0.405-0.619 W/mK) decrease increasing aggregate/cement ratios, they increase dosage. In addition, high amount composition results lower shrinkage wetting decreasing showed RLC might be by superplasticizer air-entraining mixtures different sizes aggregates.

Prediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength
Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method. One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...
متن کاملProperties of Green Lightweight Aggregate Concrete
With increasing concern over the excessive exploitation of natural aggregates, synthetic lightweight aggregate produced from environmental waste is a viable new source of structural aggregate material. The uses of structural grade lightweight concrete reduce considerably the self-load of a structure and permit larger precast units to be handled. In this paper, the mechanical properties of a str...
متن کاملInvestigation of mechanical and durability properties of lightweight concrete containing Pumice
In this research, the effect of the cement, sand, and pumice mixture on the durability of lightweight concrete is investigated. The intention of this paper is to replace a certain amount of the pumice percentage as an alternative option of the cement and pumice sand aggregate with conventional sand components. The experimental results include compressive strength, ion-chloride emission factor (...
متن کاملEffect of Cured Time on Creep of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete
Creep and shrinkage are such properties that will occur in concrete when they are under load and exposed to surrounding. Since this property will cause deformation which may decrease the design strength of the concrete, it is necessary to do have more knowledge on this phenomenon. So, we will study the effect of creep on 7 and 14 days of cured time of specimens which sealed or unsealed will be ...
