چکیده
Introduction: Automated hematology analyzer platelet counts can be performed using either the impedance (PLT-I) method or fluorescent nucleic acid staining (PLT-O) method. Estimated (PLT-E) calculated a digital morphology by evaluating peripheral blood smear. Our objective was to compare values detected on Mindray BC-6200 device PLT-E count MC-80 analyzer. Material and methods: Complete cell findings between 1 September 11 October, 2022 were obtained from data storage units of devices. We selected two groups blood: first group with thrombocytopenia (n = 49) second that gave an aggregation and/or clumping flag 32). The results 190 consecutive patients normal counts, no flag, evaluated as control group. Pearson’s correlation coefficients, Bland-Altman plots, paired t-tests calculated. Results: plot difference PLT-I PLT-O showed mean –43.6 (95%: –17.2 –69.9); when we compared PLT-E, bias improved –6.1 –18.26 6.1) in samples flags (Bland-Altman plots). In without clumping, plot, differences means all close zero, there definite biases. Conclusions: Examining system show clumps has potential improve day-to-day laboratory routine.

Automated Hematology Analyzers in Diagnosis of Plasmodium vivax Malaria: an Adjunct to Conventional Microscopy
Malaria is one of the most pervasive parasitic diseases ever known to mankind affecting nearly 300 million people every year. The need for rapid diagnosis of malaria in tropical and subtropical malaria endemic areas is on the rise. In this study, we evaluated the usefulness of hematology autoanalyzers, Sysmex XE-2100 & XT-2000i in the presumptive diagnosis of malaria. Our study shows that abnor...
متن کاملValidation of lamellar body counts using three hematology analyzers.
The lamellar body count (LBC) represents an alternative method to the TDx-FLM II (Abbott Laboratories, Abbott Park, IL), which is planned to be discontinued, for assessing fetal lung maturity. Our objective was to validate the LBC on 3 hematology analyzers (Coulter LH 750 and Coulter Ac.T diff2, Beckman Coulter, Brea, CA; and Sysmex XE-2100, Sysmex, Mundelein, IL) to serve as a template for oth...

متن کاملDevelopment and Evaluation of a Novel In-Clinic Automated Hematology Analyzer, ProCyte Dx, for Canine Erythrocyte Indices, Leukogram, Platelet Counts and Reticulocyte Counts
A novel hematology analyzer for small animal medicine, ProCyte Dx, was developed from combination of the fluorescence laser flow cytometry and laminar flow impedance technologies, and its accuracy was evaluated by comparing with the conventional impedance-based hematology analyzer, pocH-100iV Diff, or microscopic manual cell counting methods with staining blood smears in the canine blood. Blood...
متن کاملProducing accurate platelet counts for platelet rich plasma: validation of a hematology analyzer and preparation techniques for counting.
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) has been shown to clinically accelerate healing of both soft and hard tissues. As a result, it has gained increasing popularity. However, the clinical effectiveness of each type of PRP preparation method can vary in technique and efficiency, and current methods to evaluate the platelet concentration efficiency of PRP systems have several limitations. Therefore, the pu...
