Use of dietary garlic \(\textit{(Allium sativum L.) }\) and Vietnamese balm\(\textit{ (Elsholtzia ciliata)}\) extract for prevention of Bacillary Necrosis in Pangasius (BNP) in striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus)

Garlic (Allium sativum) and Vietnamese balm (Elsholtzia ciliata) are well-known herbs that have been widely used in traditional medicines. However, studies on the effects of these plants improving immune system fish received less attention. This study aimed to investigate effect ethanolic leave extracts from garlic leaves growth response striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) for prevention Bacillary Necrosis Pangasius. Specifically, diets enriched A. sativum at great potential than extraction health enhancing system. After challenging ictaluri, accumulative mortality lower control. fed extract lowest. These indicated supplementation significantly improved resistance BNP infection has ability add feed reality.
