چکیده
Natural immunity, the first line for body to defense against invasion of pathogen, serves as body’s perception presence pathogens depends on nucleic acid recognition mechanisms. The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase-stimulator interferon gene (cGAS-STING) signaling pathway is considered an essential pattern and effector in natural immune system mainly responsible recognizing DNA molecules present cytoplasm activating downstream pathways generate type I interferons some other inflammatory factors. STING, a crucial junction protein innate system, exerts role host resistance external pathogen invasion. Also, with same character molecules, inseparable from response. In particular, when expression STING upregulated or its related are overactivated, may develop serious infectious disorders due generation excessive responses, non-infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases. recent years, accumulating studies indicated that abnormal activation cGAS-STING modulated by receptor cGAS closely associated development occurrence diseases (AID). Thereof, explore in-depth inflammation be helpful provide new avenues treatment these clinic. This article reviews process important roles, therapeutic drugs AID, aiming improve our understanding AID achieve better diagnosis AID.

Cell-free tumor microparticle vaccines stimulate dendritic cells via cGAS/STING signaling.
Tumor antigens and innate signals are vital considerations in developing new therapeutic or prophylactic antitumor vaccines. The role or requirement of intact tumor cells in the development of an effective tumor vaccine remains incompletely understood. This study reveals the mechanism by which tumor cell-derived microparticles (T-MP) can act as a cell-free tumor vaccine. Vaccinations with T-MPs...
متن کاملCytosolic RNA:DNA hybrids activate the cGAS-STING axis.
Intracellular recognition of non-self and also self-nucleic acids can result in the initiation of potent pro-inflammatory and antiviral cytokine responses. Most recently, cGAS was shown to be critical for the recognition of cytoplasmic dsDNA. Binding of dsDNA to cGAS results in the synthesis of cGAMP(2'-5'), which then binds to the endoplasmic reticulum resident protein STING. This initiates a ...
متن کاملRoles of STATs signaling in cardiovascular diseases
In cardiac and many other systems, chronic stress activates avfamily of structurally and functionally conserved receptors and their downstream signaling molecules that entail tyrosine, serine or threonine phosphorylation to transfer the messages to the genetic machinery. However, the activation of the Janus kinases (JAKs) and their downstream signal transducer and activator of transcription (ST...
متن کاملRole of Interleukin-37 in Inflammatory and Autoimmune Diseases
Interleukin-1 family 7 (IL-1F7) is a novel member of IL-1F cytokines. IL-1F7 is more commonly known as IL-37. IL-37 join the α-subunit of the IL-18 receptor, or IL-18 binding protein (IL-18BP), and binding of these proteins can enhance the IL-18 suppression. IL-37 also translocates to the cell nucleus and affects gene transcription. IL-37 inhibits the phosphorylation of p38 mitogen-activated pr...

Background & Objective: Autoimmune bullous diseases are associated with autoimmunity against structural components in the skin and mucous membranes. Autoantibodies are against the intercellular junctions in pemphigus disease and hemidesmosomal unchoring complex in pemphigiod diseases and epidermolysis bullosa aquisita. The tissue-bound and circulating serum autoantibodies can be detect...
