چکیده
New and previous fossil remains resulting biostratigraphy of the El Imperial Formation at Arroyo del Imperial, Quebrada de La Horqueta, Cañón Atuel key sections are analyzed, while faunal relationships among them clarified. Two diachronnous faunas, pTS TSAIII associations, relatives to Tivertonia-Streptorhynchus assemblage recognized constrained early late Bashkirian Moscovian ages, respectively. These age assignments supported by statistical analyses available palynological radiometric dating. Previous mentions brachiopods from Horqueta elucidated with identification Buxtonia cf. riojanae (Leanza), Streptorhynchus inaequiornatus Leanza, Spiriferellina? sp., Septosyringothyris (Precosyringothyris) aff. jaguelensis Lech, feruglioi (Amos), Saltospirifer guevarai Cisterna Archbold Pericospira sp. A new marine fauna upper part section (Cabecera Member) is reported. It includes Argentiella A. stappenbecki Archbold, Sterren, Oehlertella annae (Feruglio), Orbiculoidea saltensis Reed, Calytrixia piersoni Taboada, Coolkilella aredesi Costatumulus Septosyringothyris? bio-chronostratigraphic correlation scheme, including lithostratigraphic units biozones central-western Argentina updated.

(Eucynodontia, Tritheledontidae) from the Late Triassic of southern Brazil: anatomical and biostratigraphic implications
The tritheledontid Riograndia guaibensis was the first cynodont described for the “Caturrita Formation” fauna from the Late Triassic of southern Brazil (Santa Maria 2 Sequence). The type materials did not preserve anatomical information regarding braincase, occiput, basicranium, zygomatic arch, postdentary bones and craniomandibular joint. Here new materials are described and supply the missing...

Well-preserved miospore assemblages are recorded from the Late Ordovician (Katian-Hirnantian), Ghelli Formation in Pelmis-gorge at the north-eastern Alborz Mountain The palynomorphs were extracted from siliciclastic deposits which are well-dated by using of marine palynomorphs (acritarchs and chitinozoans). The encountered miospore assemblages consist of 14 genera (28 species: 26 cryptospores a...

The palynological content from the Cerro La Chilca and Quebrada Ancha sections of the Wenlock? to Přídolí Los Espejos Formation, in the Argentinean Precordillera is studied. The marine palynomorphs exhibit higher relative abundance and diversity in almost all the productive samples, except for the uppermost ones from both sections, in coincidence with the shift towards more proximal facies in t...

متن کاملThe Botrychiopsis genus and its biostratigraphic implications in Southern Paraná Basin.
Botrychiopsis has been considered an important floristic element of Westphalian/Artinskian associations of the Paraná Basin. The occurrence of Botrychiopsis in roof-shales of the Rio Bonito Formation in Southern Paraná Basin (Quitéria area), supported by the identification of Botrychiopsis valida, enlarges the genus biochron. Consequently, the stratigraphic hierarchy for Botrychiopsis plantiana...
