Unmasked type I electrocardiographic pattern of Brugada syndrome after SARS COV -2 (COVID 19) vaccine shot: Is there any relationship with the suspected increased risk of sudden death?

چکیده
The vaccination used for the prevention of COVID-19 could unmask patients with hidden Brugada syndrome even without febrile episodes. We described a case unmasking or in female patient after COVID-19. A possible relationship sudden death events requires further study. In people known their relatives, we recommend serial electrocardiographic monitoring administration dose.

Is there any change in the pattern of bacterial translocation with increased time of the obstruction?
Introduction: Bacterial translocation is defined as the passage of bacteria from intestinal tract to the extraintestinal organs such as the peritoneum and blood circulation. The aim of this study is to examine bacterial translocation (regarding type of bacteria and effect of time of obstruction on bacterial translocation) from intestinal lumen to the peritoneum and viscera in acute, simple mec...
متن کاملBrugada syndrome after using cold medicine: is there any relation?
Brugada syndrome (BrS) is associated with increased risk of ventricular arrhythmias and sudden death. Some drugs can trigger the electrocardiographic and arrhythmic manifestations of this syndrome. Cold medicines for symptom relief are sold without prescription in Brazil and most contain antihistamines and adrenergic agonists. We report a case of BrS probably triggered by the use of such medica...
متن کاملA New Electrocardiographic Marker of Sudden Death in Brugada Syndrome: The S-Wave in Lead I.
BACKGROUND Risk stratification in asymptomatic patients remains by far the most important yet unresolved clinical problem in the Brugada syndrome (BrS). OBJECTIVES This study sought to analyze the usefulness of electrocardiographic parameters as markers of sudden cardiac death (SCD) in BrS. METHODS This study analyzed data from 347 consecutive patients (78.4% male; mean age 45 ± 13.1 years)...
