Unified Gas-Kinetic Wave-Particle Methods VI: Disperse Dilute Gas-Particle Multiphase Flow

In this paper, a unified gas-kinetic wave-particle scheme (UGKWP) for the disperse dilute gas-particle multiphase flow is proposed. The gas phase always in hydrodynamic regime. However, particle covers different regimes from trajectory crossing to wave interaction with variation of local Knudsen number. UGKWP an appropriate method capturing multiscale transport mechanism through its coupled formulation. regime intensive collision, evolution solid will be followed by analytic quasi-equilibrium distribution; while rarefied non-equilibrium captured tracking and which plays decisive role recovering behavior.
