Understanding Tourists’ Motivations: The Case of Al Baha Mountainous Region in Saudi Arabia

Motivations are critical factors in understanding tourists’ behaviors relation to destination choice; they relate needs, goals, and preferences. Extensive research on this topic has been documented the literature. However, there few empirical studies ecotourist cities mountainous regions that facing an increasing number of challenges due cost infrastructure development. Attention motivational is for specifying their needs preferences when drawing up future urban policies develop areas. In study, variables influence motivations, likelihood revisiting those areas, were analyzed.
