Understanding Money Management Behavior Through the Theory of Planned Behavior

This paper presents the results of a survey carried out by authors in two different countries that share common language and culture, Romania Republic Moldova. The aim study is to analyze three dimensions Money Management Behavior (saving, overspending financial awareness) integrate them into model based on Theory Planned Behavior. structural equation modelling analysis reveals saving influenced negatively Success Centrality (two materialism scale), External locus control Pain paying. Overspending Centrality, Happiness paying, positively Social norms Internal control. Success, influence awareness individuals, whereas paying influences it negatively. socio-psychological behavioral differences these are compared discussed.
