چکیده

With the increasing challenges of climate change and scarce resources, development sustainable energy-efficient technical systems is becoming increasingly important. In many applications, friction losses occurring in contacts have a decisive influence on overall efficiency. At this point, tribological contact optimization can make an important contribution to efficiency systems. However, improvements are often associated with considerable experimental effort. To reduce time, additional simulation models be applied predict behavior. This requires closest possible approximation real within numerical model. paper presents approach for time-dependent cam–tappet contact. The uses realistic operating conditions as they arise valve train internal combustion engines. edge effects behavior considered by scaled calculation area surface roughness investigated using stochastic asperity models. It shown that strongly depends properties load spectrum used. addition, sides clear pressure film thickness distribution.

Friction in colloids: bulk and edge effects

The field of friction especially at the mesoscopic and microscopic scales lacks fundamental understanding. One of the main difficulties is that we can observe only time-averaged values of the physical quantities because the atomistic dissipative nonlinear phenomena usually hide within an inaccessible interface between the sliding solids. The research carried out by Bohlein and colleagues shows ...

Bifurcation and Chaos in Size-Dependent NEMS Considering Surface Energy Effect and Intermolecular Interactions

The impetus of this study is to investigate the chaotic behavior of a size-dependent nano-beam with double-sided electrostatic actuation, incorporating surface energy effect and intermolecular interactions. The geometrically nonlinear beam model is based on Euler-Bernoulli beam assumption. The influence of the small-scale and the surface energy effect are modeled by implementing the consistent ...

An Application-Oriented Approach for Distributed System Modeling and Simulation

Complexity of applications operating in a network environment has been considerably increased, since numerous architectural models, such as the client/server model and its extensions, have lately emerged. When dealing with distributed applications, network modeling is not so demanding and modeling solutions for widely used network components are already adopted by commercial tools. In this pape...

THE PERIODIC GREEN VEHICLE ROUTING PROBLEM WITH CONSIDERING OF TIME-DEPENDENT URBAN TRAFFIC AND TIME WINDOWS

The travel times among demand points are strongly influenced by traffic in a supply chain. Due to this fact, the service times for customers are variable. For this reason, service time is often changes over a time interval in a real environment. In this paper, a time-dependent periodic green vehicle routing problem (VRP) considering the time windows for serving the customers and multiple trip i...
