Undergraduates' perspectives on online education

With the abrupt emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, all parties involved in higher education were caught unprepared for online education. The current study focuses on undergraduate students' ideas about problems that have emerged during pandemic. Both quantitative and qualitative data collected with a mixed-method research paradigm to answer related question. In dimension, an survey was applied 154 students at state university Turkey, results analyzed descriptively. To collect data, focus group interview carried out eight from same group. analysis revealed similar recent literature. that, while general satisfaction resides among participants, infrastructure major impediment education, workloads participants seem increased since beginning addition this, analyses significant amount demotivation learning shared common notion could not replace face-to-face any way. also felt there serious testing assessment processes; they believed pandemic minimal student work has been overprized. This finding, extent, contradicts findings study.
