چکیده
This study substantiates the usefulness of a systemic approach to investigate multi-dimensional challenges regarding environmental, economic, and social impacts facing sustainable development unconventional energy resources, particularly oil sands (OS) in Canada. research uses system dynamics (SD) methodology examine impact shocks demand using real theoretical scenarios. was done by identifying leading indicators critical OS resource capture effects. The identifies contribution resources Canada global has developed model structure that captures parameters associated with economic-dynamics, socio-dynamics, enviro-dynamics for next 30 years. It also includes sudden supply presents various recovery results from these scenarios indicate it may take up 25 years industry return its pre-shock trajectory, even assuming rapid recovery. As such, proposes an adaptive assist policies decision-making. Accordingly, can be helpful academicians, policymakers, practitioners objective decision-making development. Meanwhile, provides cogent valuable information natural governance.

Background Previous studies have mostly focused on socio-demographic and health-related determinants of health-related behaviors. Although comprehensive health insurance coverage could discourage individual lifestyle improvement due to the ex-ante moral hazard problem, few studies have examined such effects. This study examines the association of a comprehensive set of factors including socio-d...
متن کاملEvaluation of Energy Storage Technologies and Applications Pinpointing Renewable Energy Resources Intermittency Removal
Renewable energy sources (RES), especially wind power plants, have high priority of promotion in the energy policies worldwide. An increasing share of RES and distributed generation (DG), should, as has been assumed, provide improvement in reliability of electricity delivery to the customers. Paper presented here concentrates on electricity storage systems technologies and applications pinpoint...

They seldom co...

Climate change is the alteration of climate directly or indirectly caused by human activities that modify the composition of the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases (GHG), particularly CO2, are accumulating in the atmosphere, with the consequent warming. Global mean temperature has risen since preindustrial times, with most of the warming occurring in the last three decades. The consequence are increa...
