چکیده
High harmonic generation (HHG) enables coherent extreme-ultraviolet (XUV) radiation with ultra-short pulse duration in a table-top setup. This has already enabled plethora of applications. Nearly all these applications would benefit from high photon flux to increase the signal-to-noise ratio and decrease measurement times. In addition, shortest pulses are desired investigate fastest dynamics fields as diverse physics, biology, chemistry material sciences. this work, up-to-date most powerful XUV source 12.9 mW single line at 26.5 eV is demonstrated via HHG frequency-doubled post-compressed fibre laser. At same time sub-6 fs allows accessing ultrafast an order magnitude higher than previously demonstrated. concept will greatly advance facilitate science technology enable photon-hungry studies.

Novel table-top sources of extreme-ultraviolet light based on high-harmonic generation yield unique insight into the fundamental properties of molecules, nanomaterials or correlated solids, and enable advanced applications in imaging or metrology. Extending high-harmonic generation to high repetition rates portends great experimental benefits, yet efficient extreme-ultraviolet conversion of cor...
متن کامل2. High Repetition Rate Pulse Source Using Pulse Compression through Optical Fiber
For next-generation optical networks, it is expected that transmission capacity will be increased by making high channel density and wide band WDM systems, and increasing data bitrate per wavelength channel. The high bitrate per channel system has great potential for cost reductions in comparison with wide broaden DWDM systems of the same transmission capacity, because of a fewer number of chan...
متن کاملGeneration of spatially coherent light at extreme ultraviolet wavelengths.
We present spatial coherence measurements of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light generated through the process of high-harmonic up-conversion of a femtosecond laser. With a phase-matched hollow-fiber geometry, the generated beam was found to exhibit essentially full spatial coherence. The coherence of this laser-like EUV source was shown by recording Gabor holograms of small objects. This work demo...
متن کاملProbing limits of acoustic nanometrology using coherent extreme ultraviolet light
Photoacoustic nanometrology using coherent extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light detection is a unique and powerful tool for probing ultrathin films with a wide range of mechanical properties and thicknesses well under 100 nm. In this technique, short wavelength acoustic waves are generated through laser excitation of a nano-patterned metallic grating, and then probed by diffracting coherent EUV beam...
متن کاملDynamics of high-repetition-rate laser plasma extreme ultraviolet sources from droplet targets
As a mass limited target the water droplet laser plasma source has been shown to have many attractive features as a continuous, almost debris-free source for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and X-ray applications. Through a dual experimental and theoretical study, we analyze the interaction physics between the laser light and the target. The hydrodynamic laser plasma simulation code, Medusa103 is use...
