Uji Kadar Hambat Minimum (KHM) dan Kadar Bunuh Minimum (KBM) ekstrak daun kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata) dari geothermal Ie Seum Aceh Besar terhadap Staphylococcus aureus

Background: Chromolaena odorata plant is a weed that grows abundantly in various places, including geothermal areas. Its leaves contain chemical compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, and tannins can function antibacterials.Objectives: The study aims to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) Bactericidal (MBC) of ethanol extract grown area Ie Seum Aceh Besar against Staphylococcus aureus.Methods: was conducted at Fundamental Microbiology Laboratory June 2022. MIC MBC tests from were performed using liquid dilution method. concentrations used 1%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 10%. determined based on turbidity or clarity test solution, while by streaking each concentration extract/test solution agar media. Data analysis descriptively terms lowest could inhibit kill aureus.Results: results showed had value 5% an 7% inhibiting growth aureus.Conclusion: Based study, it be concluded able aureus 7%.
