UAV Thrust Model Identification Using Spectrogram Analysis

This paper deals with a non-contact method to identify the aerodynamic propeller constants of Parrot AR.Drone quadrotor. The experimental setup consists microphone installed in flight arena record audio data. In terms methodology, spectrogram analysis is adopted estimate velocity based on filtered sound signal. It known that, hovering maneuver, when UAV mass increases, propellers rotate faster produce necessary thrust increment. this work, rotorcraft takes off its factory settings, first no hull, corresponding 413 g, and after small 444 bigger 462 g. sequence, are estimated for each these three cases using spectrograms recorded by microphone, generated four rotors. Finally, used parameters, thus validating proposal.
