Typical Fault Modeling and Vibration Characteristics of the Turbocharger Rotor System

To study the typical failure mechanism (rotor unbalance, rotor friction, and crack) vibration characteristics of turbocharger system, a system dynamics simulation model was established by an improved four-node aggregate parameter method. The geometric physical under three states its operation were analyzed. Thus, established. On this basis, output signal extracted using Hu invariant moment feature extraction method to analyze each state system. results show that in paper can effectively reduce computational volume time, errors numerical less than 3%. When unbalance fault occurred shaft trajectory “0” shaped response spectrum dominated 1X. frictional, slightly concave “8” shape, 0.5X. cracked, axial “vortex”, calculation is effective has good research prospects, providing important technical reference for dynamic analysis diagnosis
