چکیده

Previously, it was believed that type III interferon (IFN-III) has functions similar to those of I (IFN-I). However, recently, emerging findings have increasingly indicated the non-redundant role IFN-III in innate antiviral immune responses. Still, regulatory activity adaptive response not been clearly reported yet due low expression receptors on most cells. In present study, we reviewed adjuvant, antiviral, antitumor, and disease-moderating activities immunity; moreover, further elucidated mechanisms mediating a thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP)-dependent manner, pleiotropic cytokine involved mucosal immunity. Research shown can enhance immunogenic mouse species by activating germinal center B (GC B) cell responses after stimulating TSLP production microfold (M) cells, while human species, exerts OX40L for regulating GC responses, which may also depend IFN-III. conclusion, our review highlights unique IFN-III/TSLP axis host immunity, is mechanically different from IFN-I. Therefore, provide novel insights clinical immunotherapy.

Thymic stromal lymphopoietin and cancer.

Originally shown to promote the growth and activation of B cells, thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is now known to have wide-ranging effects on both hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic cell lineages. These include dendritic cells, basophils, mast cells, B cells, epithelial cells, and CD4(+), CD8(+), and NK T cells. Although TSLP's role in the promotion of Th2 responses has been studied extens...
