Steel is one of the most powerful industries globally, and associated products have a tremendous impact on nurturing sustainable society. Considering environmental concerns within this industry's supply chain highly successful in saving both energy natural resources lowering greenhouse gas emissions. In light this, suppliers are considered input partners who play specific role business operations every enterprise, maintaining them to achieve higher levels customer satisfaction thus gain more market share. Supplier selection can be characterized as multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem under vague uncertain environment. paper, hybrid model fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution (FTOPSIS) suggested determine potent green supplier steel manufacturing Vietnam based complete set five main criteria (price, quality, delivery, service, environment) through literature review experts’ responses. The significance each criterion measured judgments linguistic terms, which expressed triangular numbers using FAHP model. Then, FTOPIS deployed rank alternatives. A case study Vietnam's top 10 manufacturers implemented exhibit model's effectiveness. From findings, “lead time”, “warranty”, “defect rate”, “supply capacity”, “product price” were recognized impactful criteria. As ranking suppliers, “Hoa Phat Group Joint-stock company”, Sen Group”, “Pomina Corporation” three optimal suppliers. dealing with qualitative data uncertainties evaluation problem, paper suggest possible solutions provide significant materials similar outsourcing problems applications relevant industries.
