The Ajellomycetaceae, a new family of vertebrate-associated Onygenales.
Phylogenies inferred from the analysis of DNA sequence data have shown that the Onygenales contains clades that do not correspond with previously described families. One lineage identified in recent molecular phylogenetic studies includes the dimorphic pathogens belonging to the genera Ajellomyces, Emmonsia and Paracoccidioides. To evaluate the degree of support for this lineage and determine w...
متن کاملTwo new isoquinolone Alkaloids from Sauropus hirsutus
Sauropus androgynus (Euphorbiaceae) is a popular vegetable in Thailand. In 1995, the plant was associated with several cases of poisoning when used in a Taiwanese weight control method and the toxicity was attributed to its alkaloid content. We have therefore investigated a closely related Sauropus species, S. hirsutus. Extraction and isolation of chemical constituents from the aerial part of S...
متن کاملTwo New Prenylated Flavonoids From Paracalyx Scariosa
Two new prenylated flavonoids, named scariosin (1) and isorhynchospermin (2) were isolated from the leaves of paracalyx scariosa together with kaempferol, quercetin, kaempferol 3-O- rutinoside and rutin. The structures of (1) and (2) were characterized as 8-C- prenyl- taxifolin 7,3'-dimethylether and 6-C-prenylquercetin 7,4'-dimethylether by their chemical and spectra data, respectively.
متن کاملTWO NEW RUST SPECIES (UREDINALES) FROM IRAN
Two rust fungi from Iran are described as new species, viz. Puccinia hedjaroudei on Scutellaria multicaulis (Lamiaceae) and Phragmidium gorganense on Rubus caesius (Rosaceae). A key to the species of Phragmidium on Rubus spp. in Iran is also provided. All holotypes are preserved in the fungus reference collection of the Ministry of Jihad-e Agriculture (IRAN), located in Department of Botany of ...

Beginning with the fundamental works of Boursin (1954, 1963, 1964), Old World exploration of the genus Xestia (s. l.) Hübner, 1818 traditionally focused on reddish-brown species from the generally monsoon, high mountains Himalayan region (Hacker (1990), Yoshimoto (1995), Hreblay & Ronkay (1997, 1998, 1999), Hreblay et al., (1998) and Kononenko et al., (2012)).
