چکیده
During an excavation of a Bronze Age, Füzesabony-culture cemetery at Encs (north-eastern Hungary), clay wagon model with spoked wheels (grave 1290) and three miniature solid were found 1389). Miniature wheel models in burials began to appear the Late Copper Age lasted until Iron Central Europe. Their presence allows several interpretations. These grave 1290 provide early evidence about appearance such Carpathian Basin. Focussing on two graves from Encs, this article reports AMS radiocarbon dates that suggest belong second millennium BC. The implications these finds are interpreted though comparative review both Füzesabony culture for

The wagon-wheel illusion in continuous light.
The fact that a perceptual experience akin to the familiar wagon-wheel illusion in movies and on TV can occur in the absence of stroboscopic presentation is intriguing because of its relevance to visuo-temporal parsing. The wagon-wheel effect in continuous light has also been the source of considerable misunderstanding and dispute, as is apparent in a series of recent papers. Here we review thi...
متن کاملPredicting perception of the wagon wheel illusion.
Stroboscopic illumination of a rapidly rotating disk with radial spokes leads to a range of different stationary and moving images as the angular rotation frequency of the disk and the strobe frequency are varied. We compare predictions from the standard correlation model of motion perception with a model based on phase locking observed during periodic stimulation of an integrate-and-fire nonli...
متن کاملThe wagon wheel illusion in movies and reality.
Wheels turning in the movies or in other forms of stroboscopic presentation often appear to be rotating backward. Remarkably, a similar illusion is also seen in continuous light. The occurrence of this perception in the absence of intermittent illumination suggests that we normally see motion, as in movies, by processing a series of visual episodes.

متن کاملThe continuous Wagon Wheel Illusion is object-based
The occurrence of perceived reversed motion while observers view a periodic, continuously moving stimulus (the "continuous Wagon Wheel Illusion") has been taken as evidence that some aspects of motion perception rely on discrete sampling of visual information. The spatial extent of this sampling is currently under debate. When two separate motion stimuli are viewed simultaneously, the illusion ...
