Noncommutative Φ 4 Theory at Two Loops
We study perturbative aspects of noncommutative field theories. This work is arranged in two parts. First, we review noncommutative field theories in general and discuss both canonical and path integral quantization methods. In the second part, we consider the particular example of noncommutative Φ 4 theory in four dimensions and work out the corresponding effective action and discuss renormali...
متن کاملTwo and Three-Body Interactions between CO, H2O, and HClO4
Intermolecular interactions of different configurations in the HOClO3···CO and HOClO3···H2O dyad and CO···HOClO3···H2O triad systems have been studied at MP2/6-311++G(2d,2p) computational level. Molecular geometries, binding energies, cooperative energies, many-body interaction energies, and Energy Decomposition Analysis (EDA) were eval...
متن کاملA lattice test of alternative interpretations of “ triviality ” in ( λ Φ 4 ) 4 theory
There are two physically different interpretations of “triviality” in (λΦ)4 theories. The conventional description predicts a second-order phase transition and that the Higgs mass mh must vanish in the continuum limit if v, the physical v.e.v, is held fixed. An alternative interpretation, based on the effective potential obtained in “triviality-compatible” approximations (in which the shifted ‘...
متن کاملSemiclassical Transition in φ 4 Theory ∗
We have shown an example of semiclassical transition in φ4 theory with positive coupling constant. This process can be described by the classical O(4)-invariant solution, considered on a contour in the complex time plane. The transition is technically analogous to the oneinstanton transition in the electroweak model. It is suppressed by the factor exp(−2S0) , where S0 is Lipatov instanton actio...
متن کاملLeading RG logs in φ 4 theory
We find the leading RG logs in φ4 theory for any Feynman diagram with 4 external edges. We obtain the result in two ways. The first way is to calculate the relevant terms in Feynman integrals. The second way is to use the RG invariance based on the Lie algebra of graphs introduced by Connes and Kreimer. The non-RG logs, such as (ln s/t)n, are discussed.
