Tucked and treated- a case series on outcome of meshplasty with abdominoplasty for incisional hernia

Incisional hernia is the second most common type of hernia. occurs in 10-20% patients who were subjected to abdominal surgery India. Here we are presenting a case series 20 with incisional and obesity. Body mass index (BMI) ranges from 28 35 all cases. Females outnumbered male ratio 4:1 40% cases had previous history caesarean section. All operated by combining open polypropylene meshplasty abdominoplasty techniques follow up consultations done for 1 year. 10% post-op wound infections, known be diabetic. They managed appropriate antibiotics maintained strict glycemic control. 90% satisfied procedure performed which improved their quality life, significant cosmetic outcome no recurrence. recurrence after heavy weight lifting following (BMI was 36). By incorporating above mentioned repair, rate complications reduced, life aesthetic enhanced.
