Triton binding energy with realistic statistical uncertainties
We compute the binding energy of triton with realistic statistical errors stemming from NN scattering data uncertainties and the deuteron and obtain Et = −7.638(15) MeV. Setting the numerical precision as Enum t 1 keV we obtain the statistical error Estat t = 15(1) keV which is mainly determined by the channels involving relative S waves. This figure reflects the uncertainty of the input NN dat...
متن کاملTriton Bound State Calculation with Energy - Dependent Separable Potentials
Energy-dependent N-N separable potentials proposed recently by Garcilazo are examined in trinucleon systems. For-the special energydependence of the two-body potentials chosen there the Faddeev equations are well defined, unique, and preserve three-body unitarity. It is found that Garcilazo potentials overbind the triton by more than 14 MeV. A modified Garcilazo potential is proposed, which tak...
متن کاملNuclear Structure based on Correlated Realistic Nucleon-Nucleon Potentials
We present a novel scheme for nuclear structure calculations based on realistic nucleonnucleon potentials. The essential ingredient is the explicit treatment of the dominant interaction-induced correlations by means of the Unitary Correlation Operator Method (UCOM). Short-range central and tensor correlations are imprinted into simple, uncorrelated manybody states through a state-independent un...
متن کاملUltradiscrete kinks with supersonic speed in a layered crystal with realistic potentials.
In this paper we develop a dynamical model of the propagating nonlinear localized excitations, supersonic kinks, in the cation layer in a silicate mica crystal. We start from purely electrostatic Coulomb interaction and add the Ziegler-Biersack-Littmark short-range repulsive potential and the periodic potential produced by other atoms of the lattice. The proposed approach allows the constructio...
متن کاملModeling of Heart Repolarization Using Realistic Action Potentials
A computer model for simulation of surface ECG that enables to study heart repolarization changes is introduced. It includes heart geometry and structure description, predefined elemental action potential forms and enables computation of ECG potentials on the surface of an inhomogeneous torso. The influence of the action potentials form on the STT part and T-wave of ECG signals is demonstrated.
