Trichoderma harzianum and Bacillus subtilis in Association with Rock Powder for the Initial Development of Maize Plants

Agricultural production currently faces many challenges worldwide, mainly due to its dependence on high amounts of input for food production, which may cause environmental issues. The present study evaluated whether the inoculation Bacillus subtilis, Trichoderma harzianum, and rock powder into soil would benefit fertility plant growth in vase conditions. results showed that some nutrients increased, such as phosphorus, iron, sulfur, calcium, potassium. also parameters related growth, height, leaf area, shoot dry matter (SDM), root (RDM) increased with microorganisms coupled soil, even 50% chemical fertilization dose compared their control treatments. findings potential benefits plants B. subtilis fungus T. harzianum maize application soil. This concludes there is evidence inoculating applying could reduce amount fertilizer needed. However, years field research are needed verify real contribution this practice sustainable agriculture.
