چکیده
At present WHO considers arterial hypertension (AH) as the most frequent cause of death that can potentially be prevented. Timely diagnosis, preventive measures, and use adequate pharmacotherapy delays progression disease, reduces risk complications, improves quality life helps to maintain working capacity. The onset is associated with numerous factors, including environmental, genetic factors negative habits. medical analytical literature provides evidence for relationship between amount salt consumed hypotensive efficacy diuretic drugs in patients polymorphism. objective: study effect thiazide diuretics on level blood pressure depending Gly460Trp polymorphism ADD1 gene. Materials methods. involved 120 Ukrainian population a diagnosis stage II (main group) 112 apparently healthy individuals (control group). method Weinberger MN (1986) was used determine type sensitivity. gene determined by PCR. Patients main group were divided into two treatment groups: I (60 people) received indapamide retard 1.5 mg daily, – hydrochlorothiazide 25 daily. Results. Among hypertensive patients, 75.8% homozygotes G-allele, 21.7% heterozygotes 2.5% T-allele. There 2 times more sick carriers T-allele than (p˂0.05). In subgroup Ia (carriers GG genotype), decrease mean daily SBP (ΔSBP) 16.5 mmHg, among 49.8 mm Hg, Ib 12.6 26, 3 Hg respectively. antihypertensive greater. IIa ΔSBP 18.5 29.8 Hg. IIb 16.4 31.3 Therefore, gives best result does not depend Conclusion. have significantly higher frequency G460T compared (12.5% vs 6.7%). presence genotype patient AH predictor successful diuretics.

Two hundred and twenty-seven cases of moderate to severe hypertension were treated with thiazide diuretics alone for periods of up to 12 years. In 80%. the hypertension was adequately controlled without additional antihypertensive agents. Hypokalaemic alkalosis was common despite potassium supplements-but caused no symptoms. The incidence of diabetes and gout was low. It is concluded that thiaz...
