Trauma patients with hypokalemia have an increased risk of morbidity and mortality

The aims of our study were (1) to determine the prevalence hypokalemia, (2) evaluate predictors for and (3) show influence hypokalemia on in-hospital outcome (mortality, adverse events, length stay) in a general trauma cohort.
