چکیده
To have an effective transmission network and support free trading, the open non-discriminatory access to services for all market participants under conditions is of significant concern. this end, a sufficient value available transfer capability (ATC) required, which can significantly affect electricity efficiency. This paper constructs methodology reinforcing existing considering wind power investment enhance ATC. In regard, bi-level structure adopted whose upper level joint expansion planning (TEP) subject technical grid limitations. After solving level, security-constrained economic dispatch (SC-ED) formulated acquire optimal generation scheduling. Then, lower designed calculate solve problem, SC-ED first replaced by its primal dual feasibility constraints strong duality equality. these are added level. The also corresponding constraints. Consequently, bilinear single-level optimization problem extracted, further solved employing Konno’s cutting plane algorithm. experimental results on IEEE 24-bus RTS show proposed method’s effectiveness. It indicated that ATC be improved 27.2 % using model at expense more cost resulting in less load shedding curtailment.

متن کاملOptimal Available Transfer Capability Assessment Strategy for Wind Integrated Transmission Systems Considering Uncertainty of Wind Power Probability Distribution
Wind power prediction research shows that it is difficult to accurately and effectively estimate the probability distribution (PD) of wind power. When only partial information of the wind power probability distribution function is available, an optimal available transfer capability (ATC) assessment strategy considering the uncertainty on the wind power probability distribution is proposed in th...
