Transient Heat Transfer Analysis on Composite Solids for Hypersonic Flow Applications

Surface heating rates have the importance in high speed flow due to viscous or aerodynamic which leads enormous rise surface temperature. Prediction of exact heat transfer is essential for design protection systems bodies aimed. For thermal system, Surfaces are generally configured with multiple solids. Hence present study planned develop conjugate (CHT) solver composite A CHT hypersonic environment. Finite volume framework and explicit time stepping been implemented both compressible Navier-Stokes conduction solver. Loose coupling has established between above mentioned fluid solid domain solvers. The following observations were made simulations. In case flows over finite thickness flat plate, considerable difference rate noticed along stream wise direction at solid-fluid interface also Effect wall material on diffusion application analyzed using loosely coupled cylinder. Necessity insulating region stagnation point realized as outcome these studies.
