Transformational behaviors: Increasing work engagement in multinational environments

The role of a leader is fundamental to increase organizational culture and facilitate employee engagement. However, organizations are not providing clear guidance on how do it. This study aims determine the relationship between leadership styles engagement as well understand whether there correlation an engaged extra effort. uses Multi-Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ-5x Rater Form) measure perception Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17) scope limited sample 167 employees from 7 different multinational companies 31 nationalities.Results show that all transformational behaviors and, concretely idealized behavior, significantly positively related work in environments. Results also reveal strong concludes leaders or managers should use if they want effort with their teams.
