Transformation and Development Path of China’s Thermal Power Generation Industry under Dual Carbon Goal

In the next few decades, transformation and development direction of China’s power industry is achieving dual carbon goal, thermal units with high installed capacity large emissions are main targets emission reduction. This paper expounds connotation goal in industry, then discusses path generation under from 3 directions: mitigation source, sink improvement grid’s ability to absorb new energy power. The results show that source can be achieved through co-firing biomass coal for saving generating unit all working conditions. Post-combustion capture mainstream technology improve dioxide absorption sink. Optimizing flexible operation control strategy coal-fired plants grid provide reference researchers who want understand trend China.
