Training design enhancement through training evaluation: Effects on training transfer

چکیده
This research investigates the linkage between training evaluation, learning design and transfer. A new evaluation model, (i.e., learning-transfer model [LTEM]), was used to examine its ability provide evaluative evidence through robust assessments in pre-, post- delayed assessments. The improve of a nursing programme nudge stakeholders change their practices. mixed-methods approach, called convergent parallel, employed study influence LTEM improvement by assessing perceptions nurse trainees, trainers educator towards instructional programme. quantitative approach extent which improved using an iterative cycle would result performance among four groups one baseline three treatment groups). integrated data showed that influenced focus more on skills practice. With this shift mindset, enhanced based principles design, cognitive science multimedia principles. Results posttests higher mean scores compared group. For measure transfer, while scored higher, there no statistically significant difference all groups. could be attributed nurses’ varied levels experience, negative transfer use different matrices hospital.

Mixed Effects of Training on Transfer
The study of learning transfer yields conflicting patterns of results. While some research shows strong effects of previous learning, others show no such effects. This is a consequence of the absence of consensus on what parts of a skill is transferred. In the present paper, we suggest that learning can be divided into general task-related components and specific stimulus-related ones. In one c...
متن کاملThe Relationship Training Transfer between Training Characteristic, Training Design and Work Environment
Training transfer is refers to the trainees ability to accept what has been taught in the course of training and transfer them to actual working situation and be able to retain it for a certain period of time. The evaluation is to identify the relationship between trainee characteristics, training design and work environment towards transfer of training among employee. The findings of the study...

متن کاملPeripheral Oculomotor Control Training in Healthy Individuals: Effects of Training and Training Transfer.
Individuals with healthy vision can spontaneously form a stable preferred retinal locus (PRL) over a period of several hours during eccentric viewing tasks. This process is poorly understood and does not appear to be driven by selection of retinal regions that optimize performance. It is also unknown whether PRL formation can be guided by training or attention, or whether the initial process of...
متن کاملSpaced cognitive training promotes training transfer
Cognitive training studies yield wildly inconsistent results. One dimension on which studies vary is the scheduling of training sessions (Morrison and Chein, 2011). In this study, we systematically address whether or not spacing of practice influences training and transfer. We randomly assigned 115 fifth grade children to an active control group or one of four training groups who received worki...
