چکیده

Research within sport science disciplines seeks to enhance performance via the combination of factors that influences team’s periodization. The current study aimed investigate variations in training load (TL), and consequential changes fitness variables, based on use match difficulty prediction model (MDP), level opposition (LOP), days between matches, location during 12 weeks competitive period I. Seventeen elite soccer players (age = 17.57 ± 0.49 years; body height 1.79 0.05 m; weight 72.21 6.96 kg), have completed a Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test, running-based anaerobic sprint soccer-specific repeated ability, vertical jump test identify fitness. TL was determined by multiplying RPE session its duration minutes (s-RPE). Training monotony, strain, acute:chronic workload ratio (ACWR) were also assessed. A simple regression conducted highest variances explained (R2) used. LOP score most variance ACWR (r= 0.606, R2=0.37). declined significantly when compared match-day first three last week. No significant difference found s-RPE high low MDP factor. Strong negative correlations reported (r=-0.714, p<.01). In addition, we improvement aerobic variables pre- post-test fatigue index (d=1.104), best testing time, ideal total time mean-best (d=0.518-0.550), (p<.05), respectively. could facilitate prescription as well distribution intensities with specificity, providing long-term youth player’s development allowing teams maintain optimal leading into more difficult matches.

Games in Elite Youth Soccer Players

Eight elite male soccer players from a Premier League Soccer Academy completed 4 v 4 and 8 v 8 games. The physiological responses to match-play were determined for each player by recording their heart rates during all the games and filming each player to determine individual work-rate profiles and evaluate technical actions. Mean ± SD heart rate for 4 v 4 and 8 v 8 matches were not significantl...

Neuromuscular and athletic performance following core strength training in elite youth soccer: Role of instability.

Cross-sectional studies revealed that inclusion of unstable elements in core-strengthening exercises produced increases in trunk muscle activity and thus potential extra stimuli to induce more pronounced performance enhancements in youth athletes. Thus, the purpose of the study was to investigate changes in neuromuscular and athletic performance following core strength training performed on uns...

Caffeine supplementation and reactive agility in elite youth soccer players.

This study examined the effects of caffeine supplementation (6 mg·kg-1) on performance of a reactive agility test (RAT) in 17 elite, male, youth (M = 14 y) soccer players. Using a double-blind, repeated-measures design, players completed 4 days of testing on the RAT after a standardized warm-up. On day 1, anthropometric measurements were taken and players were accommodated to the RAT. On day 2,...

Hydration Status and Fluid Balance of Elite European Youth Soccer Players during Consecutive Training Sessions.

The objective of the study was to investigate the hydration status and fluid balance of elite European youth soccer players during three consecutive training sessions. Fourteen males (age 16.9 ± 0.8 years, height 1.79 ± 0.06 m, body mass (BM) 70.6 ± 5.0 kg) had their hydration status assessed from first morning urine samples (baseline) and pre- and post-training using urine specific gravity (US...

Shuttle-run sprint training in hypoxia for youth elite soccer players: a pilot study.

The purposes of the present study were to investigate if a) shuttle-run sprint training performed in a normobaric hypoxia chamber of limited size (4.75x2.25m) is feasible, in terms of producing the same absolute training load, when compared to training in normoxia, and b) if such training improves the repeated sprint ability (RSA) and the Yo-Yo intermittent recovery (YYIR) test outcome in young...
