چکیده

Jelajah V-18 is an autonomous vehicle prototype where can navigate autonomously using Global Positioning System (GPS) for long-distance navigation and find out the surrounding conditions to short distances cameras proximity sensors. The also has a system that search recognize static object image processing system. This research focuses on detection of objects in form traffic cones (Hue, Saturation, Value) HSV method by color, then with binary will be converted back get edges shape contour object. Based implementation experiments conducted, robot detect cone success rate 100 percent at distance 1-6 meters 35.67 7 meters.

Daytime Mud Detection for Unmanned Ground Vehicle Autonomous Navigation

Detecting mud hazards is a significant challenge to UGV autonomous off-road navigation. A military UGV stuck in a mud body during a mission may need to be sacrificed or rescued, both unattractive options. JPL is currently developing a daytime mud detection capability under the RCTA program using UGV mounted sensors. To perform robust mud detection under all conditions, we expect multiple sensor...

Autonomous ground vehicle path tracking

Autonomous ground vehicle navigation requires the integration of many technologies such as path planning, position and orientation sensing, vehicle control, and obstacle avoidance. The work presented here focuses on the control of a non-holonomic ground vehicle as it tracks a given path. A new path tracking technique called ‘vector pursuit’ is presented. This new technique is based on the theor...

Software Infrastructure for an Autonomous Ground Vehicle

The DARPA Urban Challenge required robots to drive 60 miles on suburban roads while following the rules of the road in interactions with human drivers and other robots. Tartan Racing’s Boss won the competition, completing the course in just over 4 hours. This paper describes the software infrastructure developed by the team to support the perception, planning, behavior generation, and other art...

Semi-Autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle Control System

Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) have advantages over people in a number of different applications, ranging from sentry duty, scouting hazardous areas, convoying goods and supplies over long distances, and exploring caves and tunnels. Despite recent advances in electronics, vision, artificial intelligence, and control technologies, fully autonomous UGVs are still far from being a reality. Curren...

Vision-Based Autonomous Ground Vehicle Navigation

The Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC) is an international collegiate robotics competition that tasks each team to design, build, and program a fully autonomous mobile ground vehicle. Each successful entry must autonomously navigate through an outdoor obstacle course using only the sensors and computing power on-board the robot. As per the offical rules, the competition is split into...
