چکیده
Abstract The Mahakam Delta is a large mangrove ecosystem in East Kalimantan with precious and massive species. Because of the conversion to shrimp aquaculture, has been devastated. This study looks at pond management Salo Palai, Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan, using traditional polyculture concept increase productivity. current condition was decreased water quality, substrate infertility, natural food availability crisis. model focused on management, particular emphasis preparation, polyculture, used plant extracts. For 100 days, Penaeus monodon, Chanos chanos, Litopenaeus vannamei, Lates calcarifer, Scylla spp., Gracilaria verrucosa were grown same time pond. yield from thrived: 332.14 kg/Ha. can be restore mangroves, preserve ecosystem, production, protect sea ecosystem; thus, this method achieves sustainable aquaculture.

Behaviour and space in agent-based modelling: Poverty patterns in East Kalimantan, Indonesia
Applied models of policy interventions are increasingly expected to consider households’ responses to these interventions, which makes agent-based modelling popular in applied policy situations. Implementing an adequate level of agent heterogeneity and mapping it into a spatial environment are critical factors of such applied modelling. However, policy applications demand the characterisation a...

This paper investigates the performance of MERIS reduced resolution data to monitor water quality parameters in the Berau estuary waters, Indonesia. Total Suspended Matter (TSM) and Chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) concentration were derived from MERIS data using three different algorithms for coastal waters: standard global processor (MERIS L2), C2R and FUB. The outcomes were compared to in situ measurem...
