The Scanian War fought between Sweden and Denmark (1675–1679) is an example of armed conflict, which uncovers the clash commercial political interests. This article analyses dispute allies, Danish Crown Dutch States General considering trade with Sweden. naval officials had captured confiscated cargoes seven tar vessels, heading to Amsterdam from present-day Finland in 1677, resulted a major Republic. By drawing upon methodology new diplomatic history, negotiations actors involved disputes relating confiscation ships, all whom represented various powers Baltic export trade.
