Towards Assessment as Learning: Findings from online courses for secondary school teachers

Today's school has to deal with several critical issues related assessment, such as the excessive focus on grades and lack of a shared understanding assessment methods aims. Assessment becomes formative when evidence gathered is used adapt teaching practice pupils' learning needs. Teachers should move towards Learning, characterised by appropriate tasks, development evaluative competence, involvement students in feedback processes. This contribution presents two online research-training courses secondary schools. They involved 240 teachers consisted training workshop part. Courses were mainly based teacher involvement, allowing for recursive We analysed data from an entry questionnaire, One Minute Paper submitted during course, workshop. The analysis highlights main difficulties suggestions, reflections participants. noticed importance group work reflect transformation practices. Finally, interaction was indeed valuable sustainability proposal refining it.
