Towards a National-Scale Dataset of Geotechnical and Hydrological Soil Parameters for Shallow Landslide Modeling

One of the main constraints in assessing shallow landslide hazards through physically based models is need to characterize geotechnical parameters involved materials. Indeed, quantity and quality input data are closely related reliability results every model used, therefore acquisition a critical time-consuming step research activity. In this perspective, we reviewed all official certificates tests performed 30 years at Geotechnics Laboratory Earth Science Department (University Firenze, Italy), compiling dataset which 380 points accurately geolocated provide information about one or more used slope stability modeling.
