Toward compaction of overmoistured clay soil

چکیده
Various complicated processes, including physical and chemical, occur in clay soils, which finally determine their strength stress-and-strain properties. In order to use soils as a subgrade, it is necessary increase primarily through compaction. soil compaction, the main role belongs physically bound water, gathers around particles forming water envelopes making compaction difficult. The paper considers of overmoistured along with vibration, that provides an intensive transition free state. this case, become smaller, thereby increasing possibility particle bonding under pressure. This improves contact between

Numerical simulation of dynamic soil compaction with vibratory compaction equipment
Roller drums make use of various shapes and their dynamic compaction effect is achieved by different kinds of dynamic excitation systems. The bearing capacity of layered soil constructions can be measured during the soil compaction process. The finite element method has been applied for dynamic analyses using elastic models. For the realistic simulation of the dynamic compaction process it is n...
متن کاملcompaction of a clay loam soil in pannonian region of croatia under different tillage systems
many farmers periodically use deep tillage operations to alleviate compaction in the soil profile caused by natural factors or machinery traffic. in 2012 and 2013, a study was initiated in the pannonian region of croatia to study the effects of no-tillage (nt), conventional tillage (ct) and deep tillage (dt) on soil compaction, measured by (bd), soil water content (swc), penetration resistance ...
متن کاملSoil Compaction: Effects and Amelioration
Soil compaction was identified as the cause of ‘growth stunting disease’ in sultana grapes and ‘red death’ in cotton at the Lower Orange River and Vaalharts irrigation schemes. In an experiment growth stunting disease was eradicated completely and yields of sultanas increased substantially by deep cultivation, which eliminated compacted soil layers. Ripping increased the quality of tobacco, and...

Keller, T. 2004. Soil Compaction and Soil Tillage Studies in Agricultural Soil Mechanics Doctoral dissertation. ISSN 1401-6249, ISBN 91-576-6769-1 This thesis deals with various aspects of soil compaction due to agricultural field traffic, the draught force requirement of tillage implements and soil structures produced by tillage. Several field experiments were carried out to study the mechanic...
