Topological entropy of switched nonlinear and interconnected systems

A general upper bound for topological entropy of switched nonlinear systems is constructed, using an asymptotic average limits the matrix measures Jacobian matrices strongly persistent individual modes, weighted by their active rates. lower constructed as well, a similar traces these matrices. In case interconnected structure, readily applied to derive bounds that depend only on “network-level” information. block-diagonal less conservative and are constructed. each case, require information about switching signal also derived. The relations illustrated numerical examples Lotka–Volterra ecosystem model.
