چکیده
Topography affects soil hydrological, pedological, and biochemical processes may influence nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions into the atmosphere. While N2O from agricultural fields are mainly measured at plot scale on flat topography, intrafield topographical crop growth variability alter might impact emissions. The objective of this study was to examine variations period dependent field scale. A experiment conducted two farms (Baggs farm; BF Research North; RN) with undulating topography. Dominant slope positions (upper, middle, lower toeslope) were identified based elevation difference. Soil gas samples collected four replicated locations within each position over whole corn growing season (May–October 2019) measure physio-chemical properties ranged −0.27 ± 0.42 255 105 g ha−1 d−1. Higher cumulative observed upper (1040 487 ha−1) during early toeslope (371 157 late limited mid season. Similarly, RN farm, (emissions −0.50 0.83 70 15 d−1), had higher (576 132 (271 51 season, whereas no controlled environmental differently different periods; thus, must be considered in estimating emission factor calculation fields. However, due large spatial emissions, further explorations site-specific analysis individual their using multiyear data help understand identify hotspots

متن کاملNitrous Oxide Emissions from Irrigated Cropping Systems
We evaluated the eff ects of irrigated crop management practices on nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from soil. Emissions were monitored from several irrigated cropping systems receiving N fertilizer rates ranging from 0 to 246 kg N ha−1 during the 2005 and 2006 growing seasons. Cropping systems included conventional-till (CT) continuous corn (Zea mays L.), no-till (NT) continuous corn, NT corn–dr...

Late Antiquity and Early Islam
In this paper, an investigation on the relation between state-building and Near Eastern religion is attempted. Analyzing the city-state of Ḥaṭrā (Iraq, close to Kirkuk), it is demonstrated that pre-Islamic state craft in the region was dependent on the initiative of the Parthian monarchy in Iran. The kings of the Arsacid dynasty attempted to bestow the local Arabic tribes in the Jazira with a c...

Climate change variables have rarely been analyzed specifically for the growing season of crops. In this study, changes in minimum (Tmin) and maximum temperature (Tmax), daily maximum saturated vapor pressure (VPsat) and estimated daily VPD weighted for transpiration (VPDtran) were examined at five locations in Iran over 40 years during the growing seasons of chickpea and maize. The results of ...
