To Go or Not to Go?—Targeting Tregs Traveling in Tumors

چکیده

Abstract Regulatory T cells (Treg) are one of the major impediments to effective antitumor immunity and successful immunotherapy. Elevated intratumoral Treg frequencies, observed in a variety malignancies, have been associated with poor prognosis. In this issue Cancer Research, two studies underscore potential harnessing unique migratory profile tumor-infiltrating Tregs selectively eliminate these without compromising peripheral tolerance. Both identify surface receptors, CCR8 by Campbell colleagues GPR15 Adamczyk colleagues, as selective markers tumor-bearing mice patients cancer. Genetic deletion or antibody-mediated depletion was found preferentially decrease substantially delayed tumor progression. Together, highlight significance molecules propose targets for preferential elimination tumor-associated “pathogenic” Tregs, which can be hijacked enhance response See related articles et al., p. 2970 2983

To Go or Not to Go: A Case for Q-Learning at Unsignalized Intersections

Autonomous driving at intersections with traffic lights and stop signs can be handled by simple rules, however unsignalized intersections remain a challenging problem. We explore the effectiveness of using Deep Q Networks to handle such problems. Combining several recent advances in Deep RL, were we able to learn policies that surpass the performance of a commonly-used rule based approach in se...

To Go or Not To Go: N-hop Congestion Notice with Experience Support for Dynamic Detouring

A dynamic detour scheme for intelligent transportation systems (ITSs) to avoid traffic congestion is proposed in this paper. When running into traffic congestion, vehicles usually can do nothing but waiting. The proposed scheme can prevent driver suffer from traffic congestion by balancing traffic flows with nhop notices method and experience-support method. Congestive information can be receiv...

To Go or Not To Go? A Near Unsupervised Learning Approach For Robot Navigation

It is important for robots to be able to decide whether they can go through a space or not, as they navigate through a dynamic environment. This capability can help them avoid injury or serious damage, e.g., as a result of running into people and obstacles, getting stuck, or falling off an edge. To this end, we propose an unsupervised and a near-unsupervised method based on Generative Adversari...
